We loved the T- shirt but needed the print for a cover for my husbands prosthetic leg. He was in an awful accident a year and lost a leg as a result. He is a Beatle Fanatic and we had to put them on his new leg. Thanks for the awesome art and it was the perfect size.

Gothic 1944 showcases the start of Jackson Pollock's shift in his artistic style. He was influenced by his work on the Mural and was moving away from his dependence on therapeutic sources and towards a more self-reliant, non-objective style, inspired by European modern art. Pollock described Gothic as a study for a larger work, with inspiration from Picasso's Three Dancers. Gothic is characterized by its cool color palette and evenly distributed, loose black outlines that suggest human movements. The horizontal format of Mural allows the viewer to imagine the movement of the figures across the canvas as well as the artist's own movements while creating them.
